Honeymoor Retreat

We had the most Wonderful Stay thanks to Harriet, JC and their daughter Honey. It was quite different to what we originally planned (but it turned out much better) She did Everything she could to make our Wedding Perfect (and honestly she couldn't do any more) she drove us wherever we needed to go, made fantastic food and was a brilliant host. We cannot fault Harriet or the place. A Perfect Wedding Venue (if you love nature) We love Harriet and JC and I can honestly say, we have made some friends for life! 🖤

Just back from a weekend stay in the safari tent with our kids and dogs. What an absolute gem of a place! Out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by countryside and cows, the setting is absolutely beautiful! We especially loved the outdoor bath and fire pit with endless wood supplies. Harriet & John are brilliant hosts who were always happy to help, and a special thank you to Dexter dog who came to see us every day and showed our dogs around the site. 😂 A great place to slow down and forget your busy life. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay with the kids in the Safari tent. Lots of space for the kids to run amok in our own private field. We toasted marshmallows on the the fire pit, cooked all kinds in the wood fired pizza oven and bathed outdoors every night in the secluded outdoor bath, and they supply all the wood you need as part of the cost. Amazing! Harriet and John could not be friendlier or more accommodating, and their lovely dog, Dexta, provided hours of entertainment for the children. Wonderful location, beautiful property, would highly recommend to any family who love the joys of camping but don't have the time or the car space to deal with all the gear. We'll be back!

If you’re looking for a laid-back, boho, rustic wedding venue, Honey Meadow is perfect! With wedding costs soaring, we initially looked for an affordable elopement spot in the southwest. Harriet quickly responded, explaining how the venue works, and after a call, I knew we could have a beautiful, budget-friendly wedding with guests. I even booked without visiting, but stayed onsite a year before the big day and felt confident we made the right choice. The venue speaks for itself, filled with flowers and natural charm, it needs little extra décor. We had sunshine, but even when it rained during our pre-wedding stay, the place was just as stunning. We rented a stretch tent that ended up providing perfect shade and a great dance floor. The barn is cosy, and the adjacent bigger barn is being refurbished - can’t wait to see it finished! Accommodation onsite was fantastic for our 45 adults, with cottages, glamping, and bell tents, all comfy with bedding and towels. Guests loved the camping experience and quickly bonded into one big group. Harriet prepared all our food over the weekend with a relaxed setup: fresh fish and chips on arrival, a BBQ for Saturday, and woodfired pizzas in the evening. Special shout-out to the gluten-free batter and the amazing curry sauce! Instead of cake, we had an ice cream trike - perfect for the 30-degree heat. Harriet, John, Honey, and the whole team helped make our wedding weekend unforgettable. We’re so grateful!
