What visitors say
A fantastic camp site! Stayed here with a large group of adults, babies and dogs. All of the different glamping locations were great, as were the rest of the facilities. Lovely warm showers! I could go on and on about how good this place was. We’ll definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at Bale Ash. Our young daughter loved the bunny TV and old fashioned tub that we used as her bath. We loved that the dogs had more freedom than usual and that we could rent fire pits. We also treated ourselves with a private toilet and would never go without again. Thanks for a lovely stay and we will visit again soon. Great rural location- a real escape. Strongly recommend to others.

Would have been very quiet and peaceful if it had not been for another camper playing loud music from his car for about an hour in the evening, which he did switch off at about 9pm. Quite a remote setting between Dartmoor and Exmoor, in some large fields without much of a view but without light pollution so skies were dark. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of space to choose from. The place had a very relaxed atmosphere, with an honesty shop.

Loved it...nearly as much as the dog! Beautiful site...so well cared for. Great people running it. Cream tea to die for. We stayed in the Beech hut and it was very well equipped with a lovely enclosed space for the dog and seating area overlooking a lovely garden, great for breakfast in the sun. No issue using compost toilet...got used to it after a day or so. Will definitely return
