Within 15 minutes you could be hiking up to Western Beacon on the moors or exploring the rockpools at Wyscombe Beach, while the South West Coast Path is accessible from Felicity Bay, a sandy stretch on the River Avon popular with dog walkers.
This site is managed by the Caravan and Motorhome Club and open to both members and non-members, with special rates available for members.

My advice is follow the route suggested on the Club website. There are many approaches but they are very narrow. There was a diversion on when I visited 😭. Eventually I got to site by driving into Modbury town and then up to the site. The site is lovely very peaceful and the wardens are brilliant, happy to help or have a little chat 👍. The facilities were clean and tidy although I would suggest a little dated, they were functional. Some of the pitches were on a slope, even with levelling ramps my van was a bit wonky 😅. The wardens were busy most days taming the grass and hedges, so it was well presented. The site is a good base for touring the English Riviera and a welcome site after long days out.

We were greeted by Debbie who was really lovely, helpful and smiley. The site was immaculate and so peaceful, just what we needed away from everything. I was really impressed with the showers/toilets etc, clean, warm, good hot water pressure, lots of space and music! Thanks Debbie and lovely husband, fab time. Andy and Cathie Boulting

We left on Saturday after a weeks Holiday, Beautiful site & Debbie & Richard were very welcoming & friendly, Toilet/shower block were spotless regardless of time of day. Site was beautifully kept, clean & tidy. Our 2 daughters loved it & made some friends. We will be returning next year with my in laws as we've expressed how nice it is. The weather wasn't on our side but we still had the best time & found some lovely coves. Thank you Debbie & Richard for such a lovely site & Holiday :)
