About Pitt Farm Camping

Pitt Farm Camping sits in quiet countryside near Bideford, and its 4.9 rating reflects a genuinely welcoming setup. The handful of grass pitches – 20 for tents, six for caravans – are all non-electric, and campfires are actively encouraged, lending the place a properly low-key, back-to-basics feel. Showers and loos are well kept, and dogs are welcome throughout.

Families appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the space to spread out, while the lack of WiFi is seen as a bonus rather than a drawback by those wanting to properly switch off. It's not polished or fancy – some visitors mention the facilities can feel a touch basic – but for a simple, friendly base in North Devon, Pitt Farm does the job very well indeed.

What visitors say

Marc Edwards

Pitt Farm is a lovely little site! It's kept impeccably, and there is little else more you could want from a pitch up if you are looking for a clean, cosy little spot. Thanks for the warm welcome Michelle, looking forward to visiting again and doing that amazing coastal hike again. You are 30 minutes walk away from an absolutely awesome hiking spot here! Beautiful part of the world.

A large well kept grass field on a farm, ample space to park with no electric but amazing clean showers and toilets. Also a clean covered potwashing area. A peaceful tranquil site. Good instructions from owners to get there also, as narrow lanes with passing places

Incredibly friendly owner who let us book a spot in the field simply by turning up. Facilities are in great condition with warm showers, clean toilets and a good communal area for cleaning up dishes. Enjoyed our stay and its close proximity to the coastal path. Hoping to return!

Amazing location just off the coastal path. Friendly and helpful owners very relaxed we kept extending our stay and Michelle was happy for us to let her know on the day if we were staying longer. Generous arrival and departure times.Quiet location huge field with loads of space. Nice facilities very simple but everything you need cleaned every day. Let us do blackberry picking round the field which was great! Nice to support local working farm :) Thanks again!
