An Amazing campsite...5 stars all the way we loved this place so much we booked for 2 weeks holiday on our second day here as we had only booked a long weekend in june and cannot wait till sept😁😁Immaculate..peacefull..lovely clean spotless shower block and we enjoyed our pitch with our ensuite facility..Highly reccommended .The pool area and the pool was really lovely Great management and staff and the views are beautifull 🌷⚘🌷⚘

We stayed for 3 nights in July 2025 with a VW T4 and small teepee tent. Initially we booked an all—weather pitch, but swapped to a grass pitch on arrival. This small site is in a peaceful and pretty location. The grounds are well maintained and the showers and facilities were excellent, clean and with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. As a family we enjoyed the games’ room, football and badminton area and the outdoor pool. We cycled on the Tarka Trail which is scenic and not challenging (used own bikes but bike hire was available) and had a nice stop in the cafe garden at Puffing Billy. Free WiFi is 150mb and my phone reception was poor in the area (Three/ Vodaphone) but unlimited WiFi can be purchased for £2/24hr. Food trucks came on site each night with a range of foods and we had the opportunity to walk alpacas which was a lovely and memorable experience. Great site. You won’t be disappointed.

Just thinking about packing up now from a 2-night break here. We brought our camper and awning and stayed in the walled garden, next to the swimming pool (originally we had a pitch on the outskirts but decided we wanted a more sheltered spot and the hosts were more than happy for us to move) - we have done a lot of camping and this site has to be up there as one of (if not THE best sites ever) Everything is so easy for you, be that water access, large pitches, level pitches. The new toilet and shower block is unbeatable with high tech showers and lovely loo’s / sinks etc. there is even a private cubicle with a sink which is great for a more private tooth brushing experience! Oh and they have thought of everything because there is also a dog wash with a ramp up to a large dog bath with shower and hairdryer… incredible bonus if you end up with mucky dogs. The shop has all sorts of supplies, it’s not got as much fresh food as we’d have liked but luckily we brought provisions. You can get your basics there though. The staff could not be more helpful and we met the owner whilst on a walk who was also lovely. The walking is just amazing from here, slight undulations but nothing too taxing, beautiful woodlands which drops you right out on the tarka trail where you can happily march on for miles, taking in the lovely scenery. We will definitely be back. Super relaxing site, loads of sunshine and scenery. Beautiful site. Website doesn’t do it full justice and reasonable too.
