About Charisworth Farm
Tucked into peaceful Dorset countryside near Blandford Forum, Charisworth Farm is a proper working farm where cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, geese and horses go about their business alongside campers. Local wildlife – deer, birds and the rest – add to the rural theatre. It's a small, relaxed site with grass pitches scattered among trees, where evenings revolve around the firepit rather than music or parties (those aren't on the menu here). May Bank Holiday brings a livelier moment when the site hosts the family-friendly Teddy Rocks Festival charity event.
The North Dorset Trailway runs nearby for walking and cycling, while quad biking and paintballing are five minutes away if you fancy something more adrenaline-fuelled. Blandford Forum's shops and museums are a short drive, Monkey World's rescued primates are twenty minutes away, and the beaches at Sandbanks and Studland are reachable in forty minutes. Note: no dogs or pets are allowed, so leave four-legged friends at home.

Fantastic lcampsite, perfect and friendly for both dogs and children! The man that runs the site,l is very friendly, easy to get on with and a good laugh. He always makes us feels welcome and is approachable if you have any concerns. The toilets and showers are clean and tidy for a campsite, compared to some other sites I’ve seen. Lots of open space, with plenty of walks, Near by is big Tesco so always you can get some food and drink. within a half hour of the site you get to the Sea side. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, and tranquil get away for a few days, I would definitely recommend this site! For sure we will come back

Good basic dog field with a few logs and tyres for added interest, securely fenced with water for dogs to drink and a bin for poo bags. Welll drained so not crazy muddy when it's been raining. Just what you need for some off lead time!

We held our wedding ceremony at Charisworth Farm and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful woodland location. The farm is set in the beautiful Dorset countryside and offers a relaxed and stunning location under a canopy of trees. Richard was on hand to answer any queries and ensured our day ran smoothly and stress free. Thank you so much!

Really enjoyable camping break, plenty of amenities and comforts for a more glamping experience. Bell tents are a good size that can fit four easily and more probably. Very nice place for children and family's, relaxing bbq in evening and beach trips in the day. Bar is a nice touch along with a farm tour. Have booked for another weekend.
