Fairy lights, bunting and proper beds await at this eight-acre meadow site run by a couple who've camped under the stars worldwide. Their bell tents come with mattresses and sheets – just bring your own bedding – and there's plenty of space to spread out. Expect glimpses of rabbits, deer and free-range ducks pottering about the smallholding, plus campfires, a communal fridge and charging facilities. The composting loos won't suit everyone, but they're part of the low-impact ethos.
A pub sits five minutes' walk away for easy meals, while Corfe Mullen village (five minutes' drive) has a convenience store and chippie. Day-trip highlights circle you in all directions: Arne Nature Reserve overlooks island-dotted Poole Harbour, Studland Bay's sandy expanse beckons half an hour west, and the whole Isle of Purbeck – including a generous stretch of Jurassic Coast – lies within 45 minutes. My friend and I booked a last-minute stay here for one night and really wished we had stayed longer. The setting is stunning and surrounded by nature, but still just a 5-minute drive from a supermarket. It’s also in a great location for visiting the beautiful Jurassic Coast! The tent was spacious, comfortable and cosy, with a proper bed and a nice outdoor setup including a bench, BBQ, and fairy lights. It was great to have a BBQ and eat outside while watching the sunset over the hills. Facilities were clean and well-maintained, especially the showers and toilets. Loved having a hot outdoor shower!! The shared kitchens were also tidy and well-equipped. Staff were very friendly and lovely throughout our stay. Had some nice chats! Overall, great value for money and a perfect countryside escape. We genuinely had the best time ever and would definitely return for a longer stay and recommend it to everyone. ☺️

We stayed a night in the hotel overnight and we enjoyed the experience. It was perfect as we didn’t have to put our tent, everything was ready, we only brought pillows and blankets, make sure you bring proper one as it may get chilly at night. Location is great, 20 minutes from Bournemouth Beach, there is pub, shops and coffee shop 5-10 minutes drive away. The tents are spacious and there is plenty of space between them. Small playgrounds for kids, this could be a bit improved with more equipment. There is also option to rent a fire place or a BBQ.

Very warm welcoming from the ground man. Spacious campsite. Site had three cubicles of dry toilet (saw dust toilets) and three shower cubicles with hot water. Shared pantry had microwave, sinks, fridges and kettle. Could hear noise from the road but all part of camping 😆
