About Haddon Copse Farm

Tucked into the heart of Dorset's Blackmore Vale, Haddon Copse Farm is a tiny, car-free site on a 40-acre regenerative farm – just a handful of grass pitches, each with its own firepit, scattered across genuinely peaceful countryside. The working farm supplies award-winning chicken, lamb and pork, plus eggs, milk and locally baked bread, so you can stock up without leaving the gate. Parking is deliberately off-site, which keeps the atmosphere blissfully quiet and gives children proper space to roam safely.

It's a 10-minute drive from Sturminster Newton for shops and pubs, and you're well placed for castles, ancient monuments and Dorset's clifftop coast. The shower and toilet block sits in a newly planted orchard, which gives you some idea of how thoughtfully the whole site has been put together. If you're after seclusion, slow mornings and evenings around the fire, this is a seriously pretty spot to settle into.

My weekend at Haddon Copse was absolutely wonderful! With truly thoughtful, environmentally mindful and equally as passionate hosts, it was easy to totally fall in love with all Haddon Copse had to offer! Beautiful grounds, comfortable organic mattresses, spacious bell tents and a completely organic breakfast delivered to our tent first thing. Clean and well kept toilets and hot showers. Our camping stove wasn’t working, so our lovely host provided us with one without a second thought! Such a welcoming place! Will absolutely be coming back, Thank you! 🏕

Cycled toured through for one night... Usually we turn up unannounced. But some reason we phoned ahead. A bit expensive compared to what we would normally pay. But it's only got 3 tent areas all separated by a flowery meadow plus some glamping tents, so not an ultra busy site. Showers and toilets were fantastic. I love a bit of stainless steel. A handy fridge not that we used it. Fantastic views. I say, fantastic. We even forked out for wood for a fire and did some star gazing. Ran out of coffee for our early morning brew. Tom gave us some for the morning. Thankyou. A great stay.

Wonderful and beautiful. Tom is a gem and so is Mark. My one year old Georgie loved the bell tent. It was roomie and safe and beautiful. Lovely mattresses and the fire pit kept my husband entertained. Loved the showers which were easy with a baby as could walk in and hold her in the shower, plus the pram fitted in. Can't fault the place. Absolutely perfect break and will be doing it again. Tom was a darling worrying about us in the storm and pegging our bell tent down which stayed even in the bad weather. Organic farm with all you could need and lots to do. Found it peaceful and was such a nice touch to have wheelbarrows to take things down to bell tent. Georgie enjoyed the ride. Thanks to the both of you!! Blue, Ted and Georgie Cordner

This is the most amazing organic farm ever. Its incredible how this beautiful space was created by the owners with an emphasis on biodiversity of wildlife. The owners are the most incredible hosts and you will never eat eggs as good as those produced by their chickens
