I hired out the whole campsite for my 30th. Emily and Simon couldn’t have been more wonderful making it such a perfect experience. The facilities are great and done so well, making it feel really rustic and in line with being out in nature while providing everything you need for an easy hassle free stay. Me and my partner stayed in the caravan they’ve renovated the bed was spacious and really comfortable and kept surprisingly cool in the 35 degree heat in the mornings. The landscape is truly stunning, being surrounded by wildlife and beautiful countryside views. I would really recommend watching the sunset around the campfire in the field it was really special. We had a group Sound bath Simon and Emily ran in the orchard, it was magical and such a lovely way to start a Sunday - I couldn’t recommend staying any higher. I will be back for sure!!

I have camped all over the world and this is my favourite site by far. Limited pitches means it has a lovely spacious feel. There is an outside kitchen which is well equipped so I don’t need to bring all my cooking things. You are also provided with a rocket stove. The facilities are clean and well kept. There are also some indoor and covered areas for rainy day play and eating. The location is absolutely stunning and you can regularly enjoy a sunset and campfire. Simon and Emily are lovely friendly hosts. The cherry on top, Emily has a treatment room on site so I finished the week with an amazing massage and reiki healing session. The Jurassic coast is a stunning part of the world and even in a heat wave week it wasn’t too busy on the beaches. There is an excellent farm shop just minutes drive from the site. This really is camping at its very finest!

This is within easy reach of the beach and the lovely town of Bridport (great cafes/restaurants and a really good market). It’s a beautiful campsite, set in ancient Dorset farming country. We had a very enjoyable weekend there. It really feels like a separate world, peaceful and re-energising. The campground spans an orchard and a very large wildflower meadow, with only a few tents, so you never feel too close to other campers. Emily and Simon are excellent hosts and have put in a very well equipped campers’ lounge and kitchen, and hot showers etc. While we were there we heard skylarks, yellowhammers, chiffchaffs, pheasants, and tawny owls.

Magical campsite! We had 2 nights at Old Bidlake Farm and how we wished we could have stayed for longer! What a gorgeous place......full of bird song and nature, big open skies and wonderful sunsets. Simon and Emily have created a little piece of heaven in the gorgeous Dorset countryside. The campsite is limited in the number of pitches, meaning everyone has space, privacy and access to the great amenities. Hot showers and proper loos, chillout areas, fridges, kettle, toaster, induction hob and 'Simons toys' - portable pizza oven, lotus bbq's and rocket stoves. Beaches , shops and restaurants are a short drive away. Can't recommend highly enough if you're looking to unwind and spend quality time with family and friends.
