About Trigon Farm
Deer grazing beyond ancient oaks, buzzards circling overhead, and sweeping views across to Trigon Manor house – this secluded Dorset site delivers proper countryside calm just a few miles from Wareham. Set on a working beef cattle farm, it's a brilliant base for families: loads of space to run around, wildlife spotting galore (woodpeckers, deer, the farm's own cows lazing in adjoining fields), and well away from main roads. The facilities are straightforward – toilet and shower huts with free hot water, washing-up areas – and flame barbecues aren't allowed for safety reasons, so come prepared with picnic supplies.
Location-wise, you're spoilt: Monkey World is nearby, spectacular beaches at Studland and Swanage are under half an hour's drive, and Wareham's shops and Saturday market are close for provisions. A proper rural escape that gets the balance between peaceful seclusion and accessibility just right.

What visitors say
We love this camp site, is so chilled and beautiful! There is so much space for the kids to play, the toilets and washing up area are so pretty with fresh flowers and fairy lights. The hosts are lush too so friendly and helpful.

We’ve stayed here twice and loved it each time. So much space and a relaxed atmosphere on site. Great for watching the moon rising and gazing at the stars. Facilities are top notch and clean (although the temperature in the showers can be a bit temperamental but there’s plenty of hot water). Rob & Jayne are very approachable and helpful too. It’s a more remote, peaceful site and a great location to explore the Purbeck region. We enjoyed nearby Arne and Tyneham during this visit. Would definitely recommend for a quiet stay.

Just came back today from a two night stay in the bell tent. Really enjoyable experience and would highly recommend. We decided to stay in the bell tent for a slightly different experience to the usual pitch up and it didn’t disappoint. Very clean, and the facilities are second to none. Not just in the tent, but also the toilet and shower facilities are great, always clean and tidy. Really peaceful and friendly site and not overcrowded at all. It was our 4 year olds first camping experience and she loved it, and we was very worried she wouldn’t settle. This I believe is down to how the camp is run and the atmosphere that has been created. Thanks so much for the experience and I would highly recommend.

I don't have a bad word to say about this campsite, it was amazing! We arrived on Thursday and managed to find a pitch on the lovely site. The area was clean and well kept and relatively flat with plenty of space, making it easy to set up. The campsite has everything you need, running taps with hot and cold water, multiple washing up areas, plenty of toilets and showers with lovely hot water and so much more! Bins were available and close by, organised into general waste, recycling and a separate bin for ash. The owners were lovely as well and made us feel very welcome, making sure we were comfortable and happy and answering any questions we had. Fire pits are available to hire as well as the option to buy wood, and for £4 we had enough to last 3 nights! A huge thank you to Rob for organising our firepit and wood at such late notice. Overall it was a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning again, highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely campsite with some stunning views, especially at night for stargazing!
