Copperbeech

Copperbeech is a modern lodge built with contemporary finishes, positioned within the grounds of Downwood Estate in Dorset. The single open-plan space combines living, sleeping and kitchen areas under one roof, with a double bed, sofa, Smart TV, and a kitchen equipped for self-catering. A walk-in shower room and heated towel rail complete the interior. Outside, a private garden includes a hot tub for two and a patio; parking for one car is provided on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. No smoking.

The lodge sits in 30 acres of grounds that were once a vineyard, surrounded by trees and wildlife. An 18-hole golf course is reachable via a bridle way through the estate or a short drive away. The surrounding area puts you within reach of market towns including Shaftesbury, Wimborne and Dorchester, as well as coastal destinations—Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth and Portland are all accessible by car. The Isle of Purbeck's coastline lies slightly further, and the Swanage Steam Railway runs through the Dorset countryside nearby.
