Sparrow is a two-bedroom cottage at Manor Court, a small complex in Shipton Gorge near Bridport. You get the whole place to yourself. The ground floor is laid out as a single open-plan space: living area with Freeview TV and DVD player, dining area, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking with an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. One bedroom has a kingsize bed and its own ensuite shower; the other has a double and single bed served by a bathroom with a bath and shower. Everything you need—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—comes as standard.
The enclosed patio has garden furniture and a barbecue, and there's a large shared lawn beyond. You can park two cars on site. One dog stays free, and there's access to a shared laundry room if you need it. The village pub is 110 yards away and serves Palmers Ales alongside local food. Bridport town centre, two miles off, has a Saturday and Wednesday market, shops and cafés. The Jurassic Coast is a mile and a half away; West Bay's famous cliffs are two miles distant, and Burton Bradstock beach with its café is equally close. Abbotsbury, three miles away, has the swannery and gardens. No smoking in the cottage.

Fantastic setting. Immaculately clean. The cottage had everything we needed for a peaceful stay in beautiful Dorset for us and our dog. Janice & Jessica, the hosts were always on hand to help and advise if needed. We look forward to returning in March.
