Thistle House

Thistle House stands among trees, fields and lakes in rural Dorset, within walking distance of Nether Compton village. The cottage was originally a 19th-century gate house and retains period character throughout, though it has been updated with contemporary comforts. A stream flows through the grounds at the garden's far end.

There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping up to six people. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Essentials like electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with wifi and an EV charging point. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and there is an enclosed garden and patio. A pub lies within a mile. Sherborne and Yeovil are roughly ten minutes' drive away. No smoking indoors.
