About Rexes Hollow Certificated Site

Tucked into quiet Somerset countryside near Stoford, Rexes Hollow is a small, friendly certificated site that earns consistently high marks from campers. The welcome is warm, the pitches are level and well-kept, and there's a genuine sense of care in how it's run. Electric hook-ups are available, campfires are allowed, and dogs are warmly welcomed—making it popular with families and those travelling with pets.

Facilities cover the essentials: clean showers and toilets, drinking water, and W.C. disposal, though there's no WiFi if you're hoping to stay connected. Some visitors note the site can feel a little basic compared to larger, more polished operations, but for many that's part of the appeal—this is straightforward, good-value camping in a peaceful corner of Somerset, ideal if you want a fuss-free base for exploring the county.

Stayed a few days at the quiet but great well equipped campsite. Lorna, the owwer was professional and actually came around to see how we were. The weather was hot, but the site is well located for visiting Yeovil. I would recommend this campsite if every you are in the area and a great camp site

Location: 3/5 Campsite is down a pretty narrow country lane. There are a few nice walks around - 'Jack the Treacle Eater' is worth the short walk away. There is also a footpath that takes you to the Yeovil Junction Train Station (about a 10-15 minute walk) directly from the campsite. Welcome: 3/5 No site reception but owner picked up our call quickly when we arrived and let us know we could take any available pitch. Facilities: 4/5 1 separate shower, 1 separate toilet and 1 combined shower/toilet room all quite modern. One under cover washing up sink outside. Fresh water tap, bins and chemical waste area near the entrance to camping field. Cleanliness: 4/5 Facilities were clean and tidy Value for Money: 5/5 Cheapest site with electric we've found for a while. Vibe: Relaxed vibe. The two Pods were busier than the campsite was. Both pods are the other side of the facility building (which they also use too).
