Walnut Farm - Mistle Roundhouse

Couples after a retreat or families wanting to escape will find Mistle Roundhouse works well. The circular design, new in 2025, sits on Walnut Farm's grounds and sleeps four across two bedrooms—a superking and a twin—plus one bathroom with a shower. Electricity, linen and towels are provided. One well-behaved pet stays free.

The living space wraps around the wood burner, and the defining feature is a large roof window positioned above the superking bed, angled for stargazing. All rooms are on one level. Outside, a private deck overlooks the lake and countryside beyond, with garden furniture, an outdoor kitchen area and a firepit for evening fires. Parking for one car sits on site.

The farm's two lakes lie within walking distance; the pub is roughly a mile away. Bridport's independent shops and Saturday market are under four miles off, and Charmouth Beach on the Jurassic Coast is reachable for fossil hunting or a swim. The grounds include an unfenced lake, which matters if you're travelling with young children. No smoking inside.
