Two spring-fed lakes within walking distance and the Jurassic Coast a short drive away define the setting for Pippin Yurt at Walnut Farm, near Bridport. The fully insulated yurt sleeps two in a superking bed positioned beneath a roof window for stargazing, warmed by a wood burner through cooler months. A private shower room and equipped kitchen sit steps from a spacious decking area where you can take breakfast with countryside views or gather around the firepit after dark. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided.
The grounds include garden furniture and private parking for one car. A pub lies within easy walking distance; beyond that, the network of local footpaths and nearby villages reward exploration. The property is unfenced, with open water on the grounds—something to be aware of if you're bringing young children. One well-behaved pet can stay free. No smoking inside.

Within 5 minutes of arriving nick greeted us and after a beer and a 20 minute chat It was like we were family... pizzas Friday night nick and Molly prepared and cooked absolute beauts of pizzas... Gave up their time to mingle and chat.. had a blooming lovely evening and treated like family...the glamping yurts are stunning and incredibly comfortable with a kitchen on the side with a lovely decking..the river is a favourite with the kids and the whole place is idyllic and peaceful..defo coming back... Nick and Molly made this place so incredibly fun... Full marks for me.

Perfect! A little bit of paradise- 11 of our family stayed, 3 generations and everyone loved it. Hosts were great, yurts had everything you need and were spotless and the site was magical, especially the swimming lake. Hope to return next year with more of the family- lovely family memories made!

A little slice of heaven and magic tucked away in the hills of Dorset! Fabulous hosts and welcome and a great pizza on the Friday night chatting with everyone there! We were in a yurt which was huge, spotless, so comfortable and well equipped with a view of the swimming lake that we went in every day! We’d highly recommend Walnut Farm for families or just adults. I switched off completely for the first time in ages and it was fantastic!

Walnut Farm has excellent reviews for a good reason. This place is just brilliant. We stayed in Russet which is really private with a great area for the dog to run around in. The bed was incredibly comfy and the yurt has everything you need. Of course we tried Nick's pizza - lovely - and enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit. The swimming lake was a real highlight, especially in a heatwave and we felt utterly relaxed throughout our stay. We definitely want to come back here again; it was everything we had hoped for.
