Walnut Farm - Russet Yurt

Walnut Farm's Russet Yurt is a detached canvas structure sleeping four in the Melplash area of Dorset. Two bedrooms—one with a super king bed, one with two singles—share a shower room. The living space has a woodburner for warmth on cooler evenings. A separate kitchen building, positioned ten metres from the yurt itself, is equipped with an electric oven and hob for self-catering. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included.

The grounds contain two unfenced lakes, which guests can access directly. Outside the yurt you'll find decking, garden furniture and a firepit. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. Parking for one car is available on site, and a pub lies within a mile's walk. No smoking is permitted inside the yurt.

The surrounding countryside offers walking routes through orchards and woodland. The Jurassic Coast is twelve miles away, with Charmouth Beach among the main draws for fossil-hunting and coastal walks. The rural setting suits those wanting to step back from everyday life, though it's worth noting the unfenced water on the property if you're travelling with young children.
