Holme Cottage
Dover
Eastry is a conservation village with a pub, bakery, butcher and post office all within walking distance, plus cycle routes and footpaths through the surrounding countryside. The Dover coast, Sandwich and Canterbury are nearby, and the ferry port is accessible for trips across the Channel.
Holme Cottage dates from around 1659 and retains period character—exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace and two woodburners—while offering the practicalities of a modern home. Ground floor living spaces include a sitting room and dining area, both with log fires, and a kitchen equipped for full self-catering. The main bedroom has a king bed; the second has two singles. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. A courtyard garden with seating looks out from the property, and parking is on the road outside.
Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, as are logs for the first fires. One well-behaved pet can stay free. The cottage is non-smoking and sleeps four people with exclusive use of the whole property.
