About The Drymen Inn

Stirling Road runs through Drymen with the hills and water of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park spreading out beyond the village, and The Drymen Inn sits right on this route, making it a handy stop for anyone touring the area. It's a small hotel with just five rooms, kept simple and comfortable rather than grand, with free WiFi and free on-site parking making arrivals easy.

The restaurant and bar are the heart of the place, serving generous plates such as spicy chicken enchiladas and venison lasagne, with a children's menu too. Breakfast is included, and there's a garden for warmer days along with occasional live music in the evenings. Dogs are welcome, and the atmosphere is generally friendly, though service can be brisk when the place is busy. The inn also hosts weddings.

Beyond the door, Drymen has its own pubs and restaurants to explore, plus entertainment nearby, and the wider national park offers walking and loch scenery within easy reach. It's a straightforward base for a night or two rather than a destination in itself.

An amazing place to stay. Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms and food. Would highly recommend for anyone. Also I accidentally left my watch behind and they posted it straight back to me without any hesitation. Will definitely be back!

Really friendly Inn. We were only there to eat so can't comment on the accommodation. Ideally located for hikers on the West Highland Way. The food was very good and enjoyed by all of us. I had the chef's curry of the day whivh was excellent for a "Pub Classic".

Great food, nice staff. Dog is allowed. Spent 5 nights in Drymen and came there for dinner every evening. Beautiful acoustic live music every Sunday.

Great place to stay at the end of day 1 on the West Highland Way. A robust menu and a comfortable bed. The shower is a bit small but functional. Breakfast was good with several options.

Some reviews mention the service can be abrupt.
