Glamping pods in Duirinish, Highlands and Islands, with shower facilities.
About Duirinish Pods
Duirinish is a remote settlement on the Isle of Skye's western peninsula, reached by single-track road through moorland and mountains. Duirinish Pods sits in this landscape, offering glamping accommodation in pods and static lodges as an alternative to traditional camping.
The site has shower facilities on-site. The area around Duirinish offers access to Skye's dramatic scenery, including walks to sea cliffs and coastal routes, though the settlement itself is small and supplies are limited locally.

What visitors say
I had the pleasure of staying in the Bothy at Duirinish Pods & Bothy for just one night, and only wished it could have been longer. This is one of the most thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated tiny accommodations I have come across. Everything feels carefully considered – stylish without being overdone, and wonderfully cosy throughout. The space is impeccably maintained, and every detail works exactly as it should, from the reliable Wi-Fi to an impressively large and remarkably responsive television that can be positioned in any direction. The hosts are exceptionally warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch that makes the stay all the more enjoyable. The setting is equally delightful, with lovely views and a very pleasant approach to the property. Altogether, a thoroughly charming and well-equipped place to stay – a real find, and one I would happily return to.

We are just home after two nights up in Duirnish, we enjoyed every moment from the minute we arrived to the minute we left! When we had arrived Margaret had met us and run us through the pod and showed us how to use the hot tub! The following day we bumped into Michael and the gorgeous black lab Luna and had a lovely conversation! Our first night the winds were very high but that didn't stop us from going in the hot tub, it was bliss jumping in a hot tub when the wind is around 40mph!! We spent all of our second day exploring the Isle of Skye, Fairy pools and of course Portree! Along came leaving day and we really didn't want to leave, starting to wish we booked another night here. On the plus side, down the road there is Highland Cows in the field and down by the railway crossing which made my day better! The pod was aesthetically pleasing and the bed was so comfortable, I honestly cannot fault anything here at all! We were welcomed with some Tunnocks tea cakes and milk on arrival for teas and coffee, and such amazing views at any time of the day! I honestly cannot recommend anywhere else to stay but here, and we cannot wait to come back again!

Lovely place for a holiday at the heart of Scottish Highlands with very good connections to Isle of Skye and other wonderful locations! The host couple was very nice, warm and welcoming, The pods (we had them both for four nights) were outstanding - clean, well equipped and quiet with lovely views. On top of that, The jacuzzis were really something special to enjoy and relax after daily hikes!

Beautiful lovely pods and hot tub, We were greeted by host michael who was very friendly and showed us around the pod. Breathtaking scenery and peaceful location. The Bed was comfortable we had an excellent two nights sleep. The Pod was well equipped with basic things for cooking with clean facilities. Fresh towels and bathrobes for after the hot tun was a nice touch to have. A Nice large space area outside the pod for the dog to explore. We went to skye for the day it was only an hours drive away from the Pod. We will definitely be back for future trips away :)
