Braefield
Dumfries and Galloway
The Southern Upland Way runs nearby, opening up everything from gentle seaside paths to challenging hill country across the Galloway uplands. Portpatrick offers sea fishing a short drive away; Wigtown, Scotland's book town, sits just miles off with independent shops, galleries and cafés. The Botanic Gardens at Port Logan and Bladnoch Distillery are within reach for a day out, and the dramatic cliffs and moorland around here support pine martens, golden eagles, ospreys and red deer if you're keen on wildlife.
Braefield is a detached house with seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, sleeping up to 15 people. The ground floor holds a living room with television, a kitchen and dining space with the usual appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine, and one double bedroom with ensuite. Upstairs are six more bedrooms—a mix of doubles and singles, most with their own shower rooms—plus a bathroom with corner bath. Bed linen and towels are provided; wi-fi is available throughout. A large garden with seating faces the views, and there is private parking on site. The house is entirely yours for the duration of your stay. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted.
