Newton Stewart sits within reach of southern Scotland's coastline, and Bruce Cottage offers a quiet base in this small village for two people. The entire ground-floor property is yours alone, with parking on site and a back garden where you can sit out. One bedroom contains a double bed, and there's a shower room with heated towel rail. The living room has a woodburner—fuel is included to get you started—and a smart TV; the kitchen is fitted with an oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, so you can cook proper meals rather than rely on takeaways. Essentials like Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered in the price.
A bike store means you can explore on two wheels, and The Whithorn Trust is among the nearby attractions if local history appeals. The village itself has enough going on for a couple who want to venture out, but Bruce Cottage also works as a retreat—you've got the woodburner, comfortable seating and that garden space for quieter moments. Dogs are welcome and stay free. Note that the cottage is non-smoking.

This is a lovely cosy cottage, great base for exploring and absolutely loads of history in and around the cottage, the cottage is ideal for couples and dog friendly, the kitchen is great, it even has a dishwasher, there is a washing machine etc in the utility room attached to the cottage, parking is outside the front of the property, we even had a welcome pack with dog treats, bottle of wine, and some biscuits etc.

Fantastic little cottage. Sleeps 2 and pet friendly. Wonderful location if you are looking for peace and tranquility. Whithorn is quiet and a good base to explore. Isle of Whithorn and Port William are nearby.
