Clauchan Farm - Middle Byre

Dumfries and Galloway's 200 miles of coastline, moorland and woodland draw walkers and cyclists year-round, with everything from gentle local paths to the 7Stanes mountain bike challenge. Middle Byre sits on a working farm in this landscape, a former cattle building now converted into a six-person holiday home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across a single storey.

All rooms open onto ground-floor living space: a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine; a conservatory; and a living area with television and Bluetooth speaker. Bedroom one has a double bed and ensuite bath with shower; bedrooms two and three each have two single beds and share shower facilities. The enclosed courtyard holds a private hot tub for six and garden furniture. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. One dog is welcome on the property.

Gatehouse of Fleet is minutes away, with restaurants and the Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre. The area suits families after coastal walks, mountain biking, or time around a hot tub between activities. No smoking throughout.
