Shellhill Cottage

Shellhill Cottage works well for couples, small families, or friends wanting a self-contained base in rural south-west Scotland. The whole property is yours—two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a wet room with shower, and living spaces all on one floor. The kitchen has everything needed for proper cooking: electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels come as standard, and parking for three cars is on site.

The cottage sits between Gatehouse of Fleet and the Solway Coast. Locally, you'll find independent shops and cafes in town, plus the Mill on the Fleet; the coast itself is a short drive away with beaches, walking routes and birdwatching opportunities. Galloway Forest Park offers cycling and hiking trails, and the area is recognised as a Dark Sky Park for stargazing. There's a front garden with seating and a bike store. Smoking is not permitted inside.
