Coachman occupies a converted stable building within a rural courtyard on the Rhins of Galloway peninsula, where sandy beaches and walking country are within reach. The ground floor opens into a living room with a woodburner and smart TV, its original oak panelling and fireplaces intact from the turn of the century. A kitchen/dining space has electric cooking, a dishwasher and fridge, with a window overlooking woodland and a walled garden beyond. A bathroom with a p-shaped bath and shower serves this level.

Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a super king bed and an ensuite bathroom containing both a bath and walk-in shower; the other with two single beds. The property is yours alone, with private parking for two cars and a patio with garden furniture. One dog is welcome. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered in your booking, along with logs for the woodburner.

The Rhins peninsula offers extensive coastal walks and cycling routes through quiet countryside. Dumfries and Galloway's market towns and attractions are a short drive away. No smoking throughout.
