Stranraer's harbour is a ten-minute walk away, and from there you can explore the town's restaurants and coastal paths, or drive south to Portpatrick—a working fishing village where the Southern Upland Way begins. The Mull of Galloway, Scotland's southernmost point with its lighthouse and views across to Ireland and England, is within an hour's drive. Logan Botanic Gardens, known for its exotic plants and walled garden, lies nearby too.
Kinvara is a detached four-bedroom house sleeping eight, set on the edge of town with private parking for four cars and an enclosed garden. The ground floor has a living room with smart TV, a kitchen fitted with an oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, and a conservatory opening onto the patio. There's also a games room with a pool table and dartboard. Upstairs, the main bedroom has an ensuite shower room; the other three bedrooms share two further bathrooms, one with a bath and shower. The hot tub sits in the garden and accommodates six. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking in the property.
