Had a great weekend staying in one of the fairy pods. Lovely quiet location (apart from Storm Dave) with great views across the loch to Stranraer. The pods were spotlless when we arrived. I'd agree with a previous review about space for four, with two adults and two children aged 10 and 8 it was a bit tight Having said that we arrived with quite a big suitcase which didnt help. Knowing what we know now I just travel with a couple of rucksacks and it would be fine. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. One night our friends couldnt get into their pod after a malfunction with the door handle. The staff were there in no time and sorted the problem with minimum fuss. Around the area there are some local attractions to enjoy such as Castle Kennedy. There is also a great little cafe near the marina in Stranraer where the staff were also very friendly. All in all a lovely weekend and I m sure we will be back 👍

Lovely holiday park, great location , caravan was spotless.. had everything we needed, Michelle is lovely, really friendly and helpful! The animals and park were great for my daughter! Highly recommend will definitely be back.

Just back from a wonderful relaxing working holiday in Stranraer, Scotland. Stayed in Ryan Bay Holiday Park and it was one of the best caravans I've ever stayed in, modern, spotlessly clean, huge living space, and the views over Loch Ryan were to die for. The site was quiet and secured at night by a locked gate. Absolutely peaceful time for me to get on with writing and research. Mike & Michelle were wonderful hosts, very much indebted to Michelle for being my guardian angel when I was unable to get a taxi anywhere in Stranraer to take me to my book signing at Daisy Chain Bookshop in the town centre. Without any quibble, she jumped in her car and raced me to the venue! Phew, thank you Michelle! And to add icing to the cake of Ryan Bay, it has a wee animal farm where I was delighted to meet the infamous Jack the Donkey, two alpacas, two goats, one rabbit, several chickens and a giant stone tortoise. Children will love this place!

Very clean, spacious and well equipped accommodation, ideally located to explore the SW300. Beautiful views over Loch Ryan. With its own small menagerie including Alpacas, goats and Jack the donkey. Incredibly grateful we found this place and their accommodation includes dog-friendly units and quirky fairy glamping pods. Free WiFi was an absolute bonus
