Ochiltree Cottage comes ready for a week away. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine; the living room includes a smart TV. Three bedrooms each have their own ensuite with shower and heated towel rail. One bedroom contains a double and single bed, another has a single, and the third holds a double and single together—sleeping seven in total. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The cottage sits on ground level throughout.

The property occupies 18 acres of grounds near Newton Stewart, with the River Bladnoch along the perimeter where fishing is available by arrangement. A seven-person hot tub sits in the private garden alongside seating and lawn. Off-road parking fits two cars; a bike store is on site. Non-smokers only. One dog stays free. Glentrool, the Kirroughtree trails and Galloway Forest Park are all within 30 minutes' drive, making this a base for mountain biking, walking and stargazing—the forest holds Gold Tier Dark Sky Park status. Newton Stewart itself, with its shops and restaurants, is nine miles away.
