South Haven
Dumfries and Galloway
Portpatrick is a working fishing village on the Dumfries and Galloway coast, built around a small sandy beach and working harbour. South Haven sits at the heart of it, a period property with views across the water towards the iconic lighthouse. The house is yours alone, sleeping six across three bedrooms: a kingsize, a double with a single, and another single. Two bathrooms and a shower room mean the mornings run smoothly.
Downstairs is open-plan living, dining and kitchen in one generous space with a bay window that frames those views. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer. A utility room with washing machine and a ground-floor shower room complete the layout. Upstairs, the bedrooms are spread across the first floor alongside a family bathroom with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is parking for two cars on site and a bike store.
Outside, a courtyard garden with seating gives onto the front, while a rear garden provides more space to sit. The village itself is walkable—pubs and restaurants are a few minutes on foot, and the seafront is right there. No smoking inside, but one well-behaved dog is welcome to stay.
