Zen Denz – Den One suits couples seeking a private retreat, or anyone wanting a solo escape with their dog. The single bedroom sleeps two and comes with everything provided: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. There are no children under 16, and smoking is not permitted.

Everything is on the ground floor. An open-plan living area combines the lounge, dining space and kitchen, with a smart TV, electric woodburner, induction hob and oven. The bedroom has a kingsize bed. A walk-in shower and heated towel rail are in the bathroom. The rural location near Dumfries and Galloway means you wake to countryside views; patio doors open onto an enclosed garden with a firepit, seating and furniture. Your private hot tub is for two. One dog stays free and gets extras.

Castle Kennedy Gardens is within reach for dog walks on leads, and the wider area has woodland paths, lochs and castle ruins to explore. After a day out, the combination of the hot tub, firepit and rural quiet works as a genuine draw for the setting.
