Honestly the best shepherd’s hut experience we’ve had. The huts are made to an impeccably high standard equipped with a wood-burning stove, smart TV, and a cute kitchenette. Every detail had been thought of including complimentary eggs, bread, milk, butter, oil and heavenly shower gels. Theresa our host was super friendly and helpful, even offering us the use of the house iron to prepare our plane-crumpled wedding outfits. Views are amazing, v romantic + private little getaway, superb value for money, would definitely come back :)

The hut we stayed in was a very rare and welcome treat for us. Was booked to attend a wedding at Dunkeld House. We fancied staying somewhere nearby instead and my partner booked. “Ewe Need This” we sure did Drove for several hours and we were blown away when we arrived the location is spectacular we are in 1 of 2 huts behind the B&B - you are guaranteed to wake up to an impressive view wherever you look. Our host Theresa greeted us with a warm welcome and had even got the log fired hot tub ready for us. The accommodation was well stocked with all kitchen utensils, pans, cutlery and tableware you would need plus gas oven and hob. Even bread and milk, tea and cafetière. Nearest shop is probably Co-Op in Dunkeld or there’s a huge Tesco 20mins and 30mins away respectively but we planned ahead accordingly. Decent enough size fridge for a few days although note there is no freezer but this wasn’t an issue. Decent sized comfy bed, I’m 6ft 6 I could even stretch in the space provided for relaxing was really happy. Was comfy with storage underneath and above. There was WiFi if you need it and I’d got great mobile signal. Wood burner heating got warm in no time and kept its heat was lovely and toasty for the two of us. Shower, wash and toilet amenities were great with included highland soaps which was a nice touch. Evenings there were dreamy. Nice big table outside to eat or take in the stunning views. Cooked breakfast, few drinks and some r&r in the hot tub it was heaven on earth. We would honestly come back in a heartbeat was the perfect getaway in a spectacular setting. Personally woke up in awe every day at where we were. Thank you! X

We booked a weekend in the shepherd's huts to try something different. The huts are finished to a very high standard inside and spotless. It was equipped well for self catering and the surrounding views are spectacular. Well worth a walk up the hills to explore. Theresa was a very welcoming host and we will certainly be returning....
