Stayed for the third time, July 2026. Faultless in every way, great location, beautiful decor, room and en-suite plus a superb breakfast. From the welcome to farewell, the service is of a very high standard and felt genuine and warm. Local knowledge a bonus, from restaurants to walks. Highly recommend.

A great stay and what a stunning property this is, in Crieff. Merlindale has been empathetically restored and finished to a very high standard. It's thoughtful, contemporary and rich in art and detail. A warm friendly welcome awaits you by new owners and hosts Geoff & Amanda. My room (Thistle) located on the 1st floor was fabulous. High ceilings, original sash windows, wooden shutters, huge bed with luxury linens. There's a great TV, amenities and decent WiFi. My huge and elegant private showroom was located across the hall. The towels were soft and there were so many lovely touches. Breakfast was included in my rate and all ingredients were perfectly cooked and delightfully served in the perfectly proportioned dining room on the ground floor. There's a car parking space for every guest and my only regret, I wish I'd had more time to relax and enjoy the comfort of Merlindale as well as the local Perthshire countryside. Will definitely return and share this gem with our Selkie clients.

My wife and I stayed here in May 2025 and what a fantastic stay it was. The car parking facilities were excellent The building is a beautiful stone structure The welcome that we received was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble for the owner, we felt very welcome from start to finish of our break. The dining room was set out lovely and quality of food served excellent. All in all we wholeheartedly recommend, thank you 🙏

We have just come back from Crieff after a lovely few days at our favourite B snd B Merlindale. We've been here many times before, this time though we met the new owners Amanda and Geoff who although have been there a short time, are doing a fab job. Lovely people who are making wee changes bit by bit and so looking forward to see what they have done next time we there. Breakfasts are beautiful and we had a lovely time.
