What visitors say
Overall, this was a fine place to stay. There was plenty of space, it’s set in a nice countryside location, and despite some road/vehicle noise during the night, that’s to be expected and out of the campsite’s control. The main issue was the facilities. I specifically booked this site on hipcamp at £26 per night because it advertised showers, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use them. They were unclean, with stagnant water sitting in the trays, and in their current condition I wouldn’t feel comfortable using them. A shame, as the location itself has potential, but the facilities need attention.

We were really happy with the location. Far enough that you cannot hear any traffic humming. The pitches were large and against trees on one side which provided just enough shade. The owner was very pleasant and gave us good instructions when we arrived. Wood readily available for perfect evenings.

Amazing campsite quite and great place to relax. Campfire by the riverside, we got free fire logs 🪵. Only downside is running water is not reliable. But hey it’s a new campsite they are working on it. Been there twice this summer
