What visitors say

William Chivers

The weardale railway passes this caravan park en-route along the cascading surrounding landscape scenery from stanhope en-route to (and from) bishop auckland out there, Also, there is an adjacent halt serving the caravan park behind it's name, as well as it's nature, for whom kingfisher halt is characterful and full of appealing charm in it's simplicity.

A beautifully landscaped meandering driveway with the river on one side and stunning open landscape on the other leads you to a warm welcome and a magnificently maintained private owners only leisure park. Once on the park you cant fail to be impressed not only by the setting but by the quality and luxury of the holiday homes.
