About The Beeches Certificated Site
The Beeches Certificated Site sits on Morton Farm, deep in the Durham countryside between Darlington and the rolling landscape that characterises this part of the north-east. The site operates as a working farm, which shapes the character of a stay here – you're camping in genuine rural surroundings rather than a manicured leisure park.
Facilities are modest: showers are available, keeping things simple and functional. The certificated status means the site operates under Camping and Caravanning Club rules, which limits numbers and maintains a quieter atmosphere than busier commercial sites. It suits those after a genuine countryside pitch without frills, and those visiting the Darlington area who want to stay somewhere rooted in the local landscape rather than detached from it.

Amazing wonderful place! Plenty of room for everyone! With a Tipod for let! Lovely showers and loos! Washing up facilities, fridge, freezer AND washing machine! Not too far from the shopping complex about 30 minutes walk but still amazingly quiet! Train goes by and planes fly over every now and again but nothing loud at all! Lovely, small, independent busines, very easy going and simple but not bare! Lovely place would 100% recommend to anyone although no wheelchair or baby changing facilities but could easily be and will mention at the end of my stay. Apsolutley, amazing, wonderful, beautiful, idilic, quiet place. What a gem! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Riding back home from Gap in France to Inverness in Scotland I needed somewhere to stop and sleep, no one else In the area helped but the owner of this place answered the phone at a stupid o'clock in the morning and saved my back side. I would recommend it to anyone. To the owner I wanted to say thanks!! I bet you remember me, and I wanted to apologise to anyone I woke up with the noise. Keep up the good work!! Thanks

Just stayed one night en route further south. Excellent CL outside Darlington, less than a mile from the city edge but still feels like in the depths of the country. Friendly and very helpful owner. Great dog walk round the solar panel "crop" fields!
