About Roseacre Retreat

A whole lot of luxury and a warm North Yorkshire welcome all rolled into one – that's the vibe at Roseacre Retreat, a tiny adults-only glamping site in an enviable rural location overlooking the Cleveland Hills. Owners Mick and Natalie have really gone to town with the pods here, kitting each one out with underfloor heating, ensuite bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette, plus a private outdoor area where you can fire up the barbecue or hire a firepit for stargazing sessions.

You'll eat rather well if you boost your booking with tasty extras like breakfast packs, deli boxes and afternoon tea – all packed with fabulous local produce. There's also a hot tub for proper pampering between hikes in the nearby North York Moors National Park or seaside strolls along the coast. Dogs are welcome year-round, with walks right from the door.

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing weekend away. The guest book has some fantastic suggestions for some local farm shops and cafés. The pods are small but well designed. If you're using the hot tub take some extra towels with you! The only reason I've not given this 5 stars is because the mattress should have been replaced about 5 years ago, it was exceptionally uncomfortable. Everything else was brilliant and I would return... if the bed was better

Booked a weekend for my wife's birthday. Absolutely beautiful place, spotlessly clean, everything you need is there, the quality and finish from outside to inside couldn't be better and the service and welcome from Natalie was second to none. We stayed an extra night and left early for work on the Monday and it was perfect. We will without doubt be back.

A lovely getaway for our Anniversary. The pod was clean and spacious, good location, brilliant views. Could not fault our hosts Natalie and Mick, a lovely couple. Natalie put a banner up and rose petals on the bed for our anniversary which were cute, this made it more personal to us. There are small complimentary details such as fresh milkshakes, tea bags and milk. Also provide towelling ropes for when you get out of the hot tub. There is a small seating area outside, grounds are tidy. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Good value for money. Thanks again Natalie and Mick!
