Harvey Cottage
East Devon
Colyton is a small historic town set back from the East Devon coast, surrounded by countryside ideal for walking. The town itself has local shops, tea rooms, and pubs within easy reach, along with a notable church and riverside walks. Harvey Cottage sits in the heart of the town, a traditional stone building from 1851 that opens onto a private walled courtyard—a quiet spot for morning coffee before heading out to explore.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king on the first floor, a double, and two singles. Downstairs there's a living room with a wood-burning stove, a dining room that opens to the courtyard, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals. Two bathrooms serve the property—a walk-in shower on the ground floor and a bath upstairs. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the kitchen has everything needed for self-catering, from oven and hob to dishwasher and washing machine.
On-road parking is available nearby, and there's a public car park in the town. The cottage is non-smoking. It works as a base for families or groups wanting to explore both the coast and inland valleys, with enough local amenities that you needn't venture far unless you choose to.
