Its a nice campsite but there so much potential to make it amazing. The toileta/showers are quiet dated but clean. The bays aren't marked well so hard to tell if you are in the 'spot.' Shop and reception a bit messy/unorganised. Its also a shame they allow campers to park along the first row (I believe it use to be tents only), this now blocks the view of the estuary. Hoses for water very short especially if you need to fill the camper. A note, the pub which is next door has very limited hours. Overall, nice but could be better.

Lovely position with nice views over the estuary. Great staff and handy for the adjoining pub. Walk into Seaton is a bit disconcerting with cars whizzing by too fast but there is a bus stop nearby instead. And if the tide is out it's possible to avoid the road by walking along the water's edge (but a bit lumpy). Entry/exit is very tight and only possible from South/West direction. Even then we had to stop the traffic to manoeuvre back and forth in our van (8m long).

Stayed here over the lad bank holiday and had pretty much everything you can want or need from the a campsite, lovely staff let me put my cool blocks in the freezer and were helpful to guide me to local walk spots. Facilities were clean. Nothing to speak negatively about, lovely views, short walk to the beach which can feel abit daunting with cars wizzing past but you get used to it very quickly

Just spent a lovely couple of nights at Axmouth campsite. A fantastic location with generous pitches and, really well priced. Facilities are very clean and cleaned at least twice a day. Very chilled vibe in a great location, two very good pubs within a 5 minute walk and Seaton is only half an hour away if you want more or need to go grocery shopping. Overall, a great site with plenty of pitches with or without electricity. Will definitely return.
