Beech Cottage

Beech Cottage is a detached house on the fringe of a village, with field views to the rear and the practical advantage of private parking for three cars. Three bedrooms sleep six: two doubles and one room with zip-and-link single beds. The single bathroom has a bath and separate shower. Downstairs, the living room opens through French doors to the garden, and the kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer for self-catering. Heating, electricity, wifi and bed linen are all included, and one pet can stay free.

The enclosed garden has lawn, patio and sitting-out area with furniture and a barbecue. A working village pub serving food is half a mile away; the nearest shop is two and a half miles. For activities further afield, coarse fishing lakes sit half a mile off, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (home to a Lancaster and Spitfire) is three miles away, and Woodhall Spa itself—a spa resort with two golf courses, the Kinema in the Woods cinema, an outdoor swimming pool and woodland walks—lies three miles from the cottage. The Lincolnshire coast at Skegness is about 40 minutes' drive, as is Lincoln with its cathedral and castle. No smoking inside.
