Bourne’s Homestead

Bourne's Homestead is a modern detached house arranged entirely on the ground floor, making it straightforward to live in for a few days. You arrive into an open-plan living space with a wood burner and doors onto the terrace; the kitchen runs alongside with a full range of appliances including dishwasher and coffee machine, and a breakfast bar at one end. Three bedrooms are spread through the property—a super kingsize with ensuite shower, a kingsize, and a smaller bunk room—with two bathrooms between them. The house is heated by air-source underfloor heating, and wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; wood for the burner is too.

Outside, a large garden holds a patio and terrace with furniture and a barbecue, looking across fields towards the countryside. A footpath nearby leads towards a pub within walking distance. The Lincolnshire coast, with its long sandy beaches, is accessible for a day trip; Lincoln itself, about 28 miles inland, has a cathedral, castle and waterside restaurants. One dog can stay free of charge. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
