Woodhall Spa sits within the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Kingfisher Lodge occupies a particularly quiet corner of it—accessed by a private track, the property overlooks Alder Valley Lake and opens onto its own grounds. The setting is secluded enough for serious relaxation, yet Horncastle, Louth and Lincoln are all reachable for a day out, and Skegness lies within an hour's drive.
The lodge is single-storey throughout. You get two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), two bathrooms, and an open-plan living and dining space that leads via French doors to a patio and small lawned garden. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Parking for two cars is on site. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included, and the property has heating throughout.
Fishing is available on the private lake. The surrounding landscape suits walking, cycling and riding, and Woodhall Country Park is nearby. This is a non-smoking property.

What guests say
What a lovely tranquil place. Inside felt a bit like an alpine chalet in our flattest county!. The lodge is done to a very high standard, making it really comfortable and calming, including a very relaxing hot tub on the veranda overlooking the small lake. Was nice to have a few essentials to make it really easy too, along with all the utilities you will need for the stay. The owner was super helpful, welcoming us in and showing us round to make the most of the stay. Including a lovely welcome pack. Electric car charger on site was a bonus. And a good kids play area. A safe walk into Woodhall Spa and we sampled some good restaurants and “kinema in the woods”, although we also opted for a take out instead to make the most of the autumn stay as we found the lounge area really relaxing. Even though there are other lodges in close proximity, you actually feel quite private.
