This converted barn sits on a quiet country lane with open views across fields toward the Lincolnshire Wolds. The property is detached, giving you complete privacy, and comes with parking for three cars, an enclosed garden with patio and barbecue, and a bike store. One dog stays free, with a welcome pack and extras provided; a second dog can be accommodated by arrangement. The barn does not accept children.
Ground floor has an open-plan living space with a 32-inch Freeview TV, DVD and CD players, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave, slow cooker and coffee machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king bed and one with a double, plus a bathroom with a bath, shower and heated towel rail. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking throughout.
The location suits walkers and cyclists, with routes starting from the property. Horncastle's antique and collectables shops are nearby, and Louth—a Georgian market town with three weekly markets and independent shops—is 10 miles away. Skegness beach is 18 miles; Lincoln cathedral and castle are 30 minutes' drive west. A shop, pub and restaurant are 1½ miles away.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Our Happy Place (and the Collies Agree!) Back at Dale View Barn for our second visit, and honestly, it’s just as magical as the first time – maybe even better (and the collies definitely think so!). The views are absolutely stunning, the peace and quiet is bliss, and it’s hands down one of the most dog-friendly places we’ve ever stayed. The welcome packs are next level – treats, toys, and goodies for both dogs and humans. The collies basically thought they’d checked into a 5-star canine resort, and I wasn’t far behind them with the human snacks! The host is just lovely – so kind, thoughtful, and clearly a true dog lover. You can tell everything here has been designed with wagging tails and happy humans in mind. We’ve already booked again for 2026 because, well, where else could possibly compete? Dale View Barn isn’t just a place to stay – it’s a place to be happy. 🐾💚

Superb. Lynn couldn't be more welcoming, a truly dog friendly home from home. Location is excellent with the most wonderful views. Great value and extremely comfortable. The most relaxed we've been for a long time.
