Chapel St Leonards is a traditional seaside resort with direct beach access and the kind of straightforward charm that suits families wanting a proper seaside break. Coastguard Cottage sits just 200 yards from sand and dunes, close enough that you can hear the sea. The village itself has everything nearby: shops, pubs, restaurants and amusement arcades all within walking distance, while Skegness and its attractions lie just along the coast.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a king, a double, and a third with two bunks, served by a single bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs is a living room with a smart TV and electric fire, plus a kitchen with oven, hob and microwave for cooking proper meals. There's a front patio and an enclosed rear courtyard with garden furniture. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating is electric. Parking for two cars is on site. One pet stays free of charge.

The property suits families and those travelling with dogs. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if you ask. Note that the cottage has open spiral stairs. No smoking inside.
