The Lincolnshire Wolds offer genuine walking country, and Hill Farm Cottage sits in territory where you can step out the door onto bridleways and footpaths. Skegness and its fairground lie a half-hour drive away, as does the quieter stretch of sand at Sandilands; inland, the market town of Louth retains three weekly markets, while Horncastle has drawn collectors for its antique shops. Lincoln, with its cathedral and castle, is roughly 40 minutes east. A village pub serving real ale and food sits close by down the lane.
The cottage is a detached part-thatched building with two bedrooms upstairs—one double, one with bunk beds—and a bathroom with a roll-top bath and shower. Downstairs, a living room and dining room open onto a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, with a Rayburn, combi microwave-oven, and washer-dryer. Bed linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are provided. The garden is large and lawned, with a shepherd's hut that works well as a summer retreat; there is seating outside and parking for four cars. No smoking throughout.
This suits couples, small families or friends wanting their own space without fuss, and those who want both countryside access and day-trip reach. The Hemmels area is nearby for those interested in the locality.
