Skegness beach is five miles away, and the Lincolnshire Wolds are within reach for walking and exploring. Jockhedge sits on 25 acres of green land near Burgh le Marsh, making it a proper base for a coastal break with countryside on the doorstep. The farmhouse itself has been renovated to combine country character—oak beams and solid oak flooring—with modern facilities throughout.
Five bedrooms and four bathrooms make this suitable for large groups or multiple families. The ground floor has two reception rooms (one with a smart TV and woodburner, one without), plus a well-equipped kitchen with gas range and double oven, a separate dining room, and its own toilet. Upstairs, bedroom one is a super kingsize with an ensuite; bedrooms two, three and four are kingsize; the top floor bedroom five has a kingsize and two singles, with a family bathroom serving the upper floors. An enclosed lawn with patio, barbecue and garden furniture sits at the back; private parking accommodates six cars. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with fuel for the woodburner. One small dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking throughout.

Dirty cottage, cheap and nasty furniture, not worth the price at all. Tried to raise the issues and was met with contempt, clearly has a superiority complex. Avoid

We had the most fantastic week at the rose cottage. Accommodation was beautiful and well maintained. The hot tub is such a nice bonus. The host Liam was the best host we could’ve asked for, so welcoming and adaptable to our needs. Thank you Liam !

Pompous and rude owner. acts like the hotel is a luxury farmhouse in the cotswolds but in reality is an overpriced, ‘live laugh love-esque’ hotel in skegness of all places. Terrible.

We came for 2nd year with our caravan. We loved it last year and same again this year. It's a beautiful site and so peace. Lots and lots of wildlife around. Lovely shower blocks and lovely Jill in the reception who is very friendly and helpful. We are in love with this site and definitely visit again. Thank you 😊
