Tattershall Retreats - Avocet Lodge
East Lindsey

Built as a modern log cabin, Avocet Lodge sits on the edge of Duck Lake within Tattershall Lakes Country Park, a 365-acre estate of woodland, grassland and water. The cabin is single-storey throughout, with three bedrooms—a double with en-suite, a further double and a twin—plus a shower room, sleeping up to six. One dog is welcome at no extra charge.
The open-plan kitchen and living space has everything needed for self-catering: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Beyond the patio doors lies a decked veranda with a six-person hot tub and seating area. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all provided. Private parking is available for three cars.
The park itself offers watersports including water-skiing and jet skiing, coarse fishing, a heated indoor pool, gym, golf course and a pub-restaurant, though most require an entertainment pass or separate fees and operate seasonally. For quieter pursuits, there are lakeside walks and birdwatching on the doorstep. Tattershall village, with shops and a pub, is a 15-minute walk away. The garden has two steps down, and the lake-side setting means children need supervision. An RAF base nearby occasionally produces aircraft noise. No smoking throughout the property.
