Old Stable Cottage is a converted farm building set in a courtyard on a working 200-acre farm near Old Barn Farm. The cottage retains character through its stone construction and open fire, which comes with initial fuel included. Three double bedrooms accommodate six guests across two storeys – the ground floor has one with an ensuite bathroom, while upstairs two further doubles share a separate toilet and the family bathroom. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, and there's a living room with a television and DVD player.
The property sits on private land with woodland walks accessible from the door, though it's only a short drive to Paisley and Glasgow for museums, galleries and restaurants. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park lies 35 miles away, with Ayrshire's coast and islands reachable for day trips. One dog is welcome here – it must be kept on a lead as the farm is working land. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided, and there's parking for two cars plus an enclosed garden with seating. The cottage uses natural spring water and has no smoking inside.
