Old Barn Farm Cottage is a ground-floor conversion on a working farm, set within 200 acres of woodland near Glasgow. Everything you need for self-catering is provided: the kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for proper cooking, a washing machine for laundry, and Wi-Fi throughout. Bed linen, towels and heating are included. The open-plan living space contains a dining area, sitting area with Freeview TV, and a games room; the bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite shower and toilet. There's a cot and highchair available, and the courtyard has garden furniture and parking for two cars. One pet is welcome.

The grounds are shared with other properties on the farm, but you have direct access to woodland walks from the door. The nearest pub and restaurant are half a mile away, with shops about 7 miles distant. Glasgow and Paisley are a short drive, offering museums, galleries, restaurants and entertainment. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs are 35 miles north; the Ayrshire coast, 17½ miles south. The spring water supply and an unfenced stream 100 yards away are features of the rural setting.

A amazing location in Uplawmoor on a working farm. Stayed here with 7 people in one of the cottages. Farmer Dave is so kind and hospitable. He allows us to walk around his property to see the animals. Most of all a massive games room barn to enjoy.

We stayed here in September 25 and I can't praise this place enough! The hosts are so welcoming and the cottage was really comfortable, it had everything we needed and is so accommodating for dogs! Already booked twice more for future holidays and cannot wait. There is so much to do in the area and David and his family are always on hand to help with anything. Close to Glasgow, Loch Lommand & the Trossachs and Irvine beach is a must visit, if you have dogs!

An absolutely amazing place to visit and chill, we went to visit my aunt and uncle, who had a cottage there, and honestly, the owners and truly wonderful kind people. The amount of time Hazel, Jason, and their daughter gave to myself and my kids was wonderful and taught us loads. It was also a place where I didn't have to worry where my children were too much . We also got to get up close to the beautiful horse, sheep, chickens, and cows. My husband and uncle had a great time talking to David, the owner, to
