Brian’s Barns - Cattle Crush Cottage

Skerne is a quiet village in the rural East Riding of Yorkshire near Driffield, and Cattle Crush Cottage is one of three converted barns on a working farm here. The whole property is yours alone, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms spread across the ground floor. Bedrooms have zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as doubles or singles—the first has its own ensuite shower room—and the third offers two singles. A family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle serves the other two rooms.

The heart of the cottage is an open-plan living and dining space with exposed brickwork, original beams, a woodburner and large smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking proper meals: electric cooker, induction hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. French doors open from the living area onto a patio and enclosed garden with furniture. Outside, there's a private hot tub for six, bike storage and parking for two cars. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the woodburner are all included. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost, though smoking is not permitted.
