Cherry Blossom Cottage
East Riding of Yorkshire
View on Google MapsCherry Blossom Cottage is a stone-built property from the early 19th century, given a thorough overhaul that preserved its character while adding modern comfort. The village of Cherry Burton sits among the rolling landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, where walking and cycling routes cross the hills. An enclosed rear garden with seating and a barbecue provides outdoor space, and a bike store means you can easily explore the surrounding countryside.
The ground floor has flagstone flooring warmed by underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove in the living room, and a kitchen with a dining area equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a zip-and-link kingsize bed (or twin singles if you prefer), the other with a standard double. A shower room serves both. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed.
One dog stays free. The cottage takes four people and is yours alone—no shared facilities. Smoking is not permitted. Cherry Burton has a dog-friendly pub across the road serving home-cooked food, and the post office is within the village.
